Xinobi re-visited his last studio album with two retrospective remix packages, revisiting ‘On The Quiet’ whilst expanding his catalog and list of collaborators with the release of the ‘On The Quiet Remixes’.

After releasing the ‘Far Away Place’ Remixes, the ‘On The Quiet’ Remixes contain four phenomenal re-workings, including mixes from Kraak & Smaak, Ali Kuru, Wild & Free and Fake Money, all friends and inspirations to Xinobi and artists he has had the pleasure of remixing for in the past.

Since the Dutch production trio Kraak & Smaak released their first album 'Boogie Angst' in the UK, the Netherlands, the USA and Japan in 2005, they have grown into a steady and well-respected force in today's international club and festival circuit. With Xinobi having remixed their ‘All I Want Is You (feat. Keyhole)’ a few years back, here they reciprocate, delivering a funky remix which elevates the already crowd pleasing ‘Skateboarding’ in a whole other exciting direction.

It takes a lot for an artist to find their “musical voice”: a style of composition and production that listeners instantly recognize. For starters, it takes years of experimentation to perfect, and most people simply don’t have the patience, talent or skills to pull it off, Ali Kuru certainly does. As he demonstrates again here with a truly special reworking of ‘See Me’, with its exotic tones hotting things up in time for summer.

Fresh off the back of the languorous poolside disco and tropical pop of their debut album ‘Shapes On Shapes’, LA based duo Wild & Free return with an essential remix for their label mate, with a unique take on ‘Morning Fix’.

The EP’s second ‘Morning Fix’ mix comes from Brooklyn based Fake Money, who Xinobi discovered organically. The reworking he has created will ensure that he won’t remain undiscovered for much longer.
