Lazydisco is a project of Fred Oliveira of Rockets fame. After getting playlisted by names like Alan Braxe, Duck Sauce, A-Trak, Treasure Fingers, Aeroplane or In Flagranti, Fred decided it was time to explore something a little different from his regular house antics. So in 2010, Lazydisco was born.
Describing the typical Lazydisco track is a hard endeavor, although some might resort to just using the word ‘sexy’. Things can get crafty behind the analog synths, the keyboards and the occasional live drums. Lazydisco is influenced by many things and many people. Often relaxed, often dirty - like life, one might say. ‘More Tigers’ was Lazydisco’s debut EP, out on Discotexas. Remixers include In Flagranti, C90s, Xinobi, Mirror People and MODE of which many of it’s tracks can be heard in clubs (and pool parties) worldwide.
